Carlo Ancelotti: 'No way Arturo Vidal will leave'

Bayern Munich boss Carlo Ancelotti says that "there is no way" that Arturo Vidal, who has been linked with Manchester United, will leave the Allianz Arena this summer.

Bayern Munich boss Carlo Ancelotti has said that "there is no way" that Arturo Vidal will leave the Allianz Arena this summer.

Manchester United are believed to be in the market for a new central midfielder, and it has been reported that the 20-time English champions have identified Vidal as a possible signing.

However, Ancelotti has said that the Chile international will "100%" stay with the German giants this summer, branding suggestions that the powerful midfielder could leave strictly "rumours".

"For Vidal, there is no way. He's our player and I have a lot of confidence in him. I know there are rumours and we're used to rumours. He'll stay with us 100% – I'm confident about that," Ancelotti told reporters.

Vidal, 30, joined Bayern from Juventus in the summer of 2015, and he has scored 16 times in 88 appearances for the German champions, including nine goals in all competitions last term.
