Manchester United have reportedly made an offer worth £25m for Birmingham City's Jude Bellingham.
The Englishman will not turn 17 until June but has made 23 Championship appearances during the 2019-20 campaign, contributing three goals in the process.
Bellingham will see his contract at St Andrew's expire in the summer of 2021, though, and it is thought that he is still on an academy wage of £145 a week.
According to the Daily Record, United have made 'a substantial offer' for the England Under-21 international which would guarantee his Championship club £25m.
The 20-time English champions are likely to face competition for the teenager, though, with a number of European clubs said to have scouted him during the current season.
United are reportedly also believed to be on the verge of securing a deal for Sporting Lisbon attacker Bruno Fernandes.
