Manchester United are reportedly closing in on a contract agreement with Angel Gomes.
The 19-year-old's future has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks as his current deal at Old Trafford is due to expire at the end of June.
Chelsea have been strongly linked with the England Under-20 international, who has featured on six occasions for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side during the 2019-20 campaign.
However, according to The Athletic, the 20-time English champions are now close to tying the attacker to a new contract, having offered him a new £25,000-a-week deal.
Gomes has allegedly been training with the club's first team in recent weeks, suggesting that he will be involved in the final weeks of the 2019-20 Premier League campaign.
The teenager became the youngest player to represent United since Duncan Edwards when he featured against Crystal Palace in May 2017 at the age of 16 years and 263 days.
