Manchester United will be lucky to fetch half of their £180m valuation for midfielder Paul Pogba in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, according to a report.

Manchester United could be forced to significantly reduce their asking price for Paul Pogba in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, according to a report.

The 27-year-old will see his contract at Old Trafford expire at the end of the 2020-21 season, and speculation has been rife regarding his future with the Red Devils yet to trigger the option of a further year.

Juventus and Real Madrid continue to be linked with moves for the France international, and United will supposedly have to reassess their transfer strategy amid the ongoing viral outbreak.

According to Goal, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side had valued the midfielder at £180m last summer, but the club would be unlikely to fetch half of that figure in the current climate.

The report also claims that Pogba's agent Mino Raiola is still working on a transfer for the World Cup winner, who has only made eight appearances for United during an injury-hit 2019-20 campaign.

The Red Devils are said to have identified Pogba as one of three players they are willing to sacrifice in order to aid their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho.
