Manchester United reportedly intend to resolve Angel Gomes's contract situation by next week.
The 19-year-old will see his current deal at Old Trafford expire this summer, having made six appearances for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side during the 2019-20 campaign.
However, talks over a new deal for Gomes have allegedly hit a standstill, and barring a solution for expiring contracts amid the coronavirus pandemic, Gomes will be able to walk away from United at the end of June.
According to the Daily Mail, the Red Devils are determined to reach a decision on Gomes's future by May 21, although the Englishman will not be short of offers should he decide to leave.
Indeed, Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan are all said to be keeping a watchful eye over developments, while Arsenal have supposedly expressed an interest in the England Under-20 international.
Gomes has made a total of 10 appearances for United since 2017, including two outings in the Premier League this term.
