Inter Milan full-back Yuto Nagatomo has revealed that he "turned down" an offer from Manchester United in the January transfer window.
The 29-year-old was linked with a switch to Old Trafford last month, but he had no intention of leaving the Serie A outfit.
"I like everything about Inter, I want to stay here and renew my contract," Nagatomo told Inter's TV channel.
"I turned down an offer from Manchester United, as my desire is to stay here. I have an excellent rapport with Roberto Mancini."
United did not make a single signing during the winter window.
