Nikola Milenkovic 'open to Manchester United move'

Fiorentina centre-back Nikola Milenkovic is open to the idea of joining Manchester United this summer, according to a report.

Fiorentina centre-back Nikola Milenkovic is reportedly open to the idea of joining Manchester United during this summer's transfer window.

The Red Devils are widely expected to sign a new central defender ahead of the 2021-22 campaign, with head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looking for a long-term partner for club captain Harry Maguire.

A recent report claimed that Man United had been offered the chance to sign Milenkovic, with the 23-year-old's Fiorentina contract due to expire in the summer of 2022.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the Serbia international would be prepared to discuss a switch to Old Trafford if the English giants agreed a transfer fee with his Serie A club.

Milenkovic has been a regular for La Viola during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring twice and providing one assist in 24 appearances in all competitions.

Liverpool, Inter Milan and Juventus are also believed to be interested in his services.
