Victor Valdes has reportedly been offered a route out of Manchester United by Standard Liege.
The Spanish goalkeeper has not even been given a squad number at Old Trafford this season following a dispute with manager Louis van Gaal over the summer.
His services were linked with a host of clubs before the season got underway, but no deal was reached and he has remained on United's books.
However, according to The Independent, the 34-year-old is now on the verge of joining Belgian outfit Standard on an initial six-month loan deal.
It is believed that the Red Devils would help Standard to fund some of Valdes's wages.
