Preview: Mexico vs. South Korea

Sports Mole previews Mexico's Olympic opener against South Korea.

Tottenham Hotspur attacker Giovani dos Santos is the player that many believe will be the difference between these two nations at the Sports Direct Arena in Newcastle tomorrow afternoon.

The 23-year-old, who is the only member of the squad not to play his club football in Mexico, is expected to perform an advanced role for his side.

Former Fulham full-back Carlos Salcido will also form part of defence that should include Hiram Mier, Darvin Chavez and Diego Reyes.

The South Korean will be pinning a lot of their hopes on Koo Ja-Cheol, who is considered to be the team's creative force from midfield.

Possible starting lineups:

Mexico: Jesus Corona; Salcido, Mier, Chavez, Reyes; Cortes, Aquino, Herrera; Dos Santos; Fabian, Peralta

South Korea: Ryong; Oh, Yung, Y Kim, K Kim; B Kim, Ki, Koo, Han; Ji, Park

Sports Mole says: 2-1
