David Luiz has claimed that he has no problem playing through the pain for Paris Saint-Germain ahead of Sunday's Ligue 1 clash with AS Monaco.
PSG head coach Laurent Blanc is currently short on defensive options with Marquinhos and Thiago Silva on the sidelines, meaning that Luiz will be forced to continue battling on, despite picking up a knee injury of his own recently.
"When you play at a high level for years, it's normal to play with pain," the Brazilian told reporters. "It's part of daily life for a lot of players.
"I'm doing everything I can to shrug off the pain in my knee. I've got the best job in the world and I want to play every match that God gives me."
Luiz scored his first goal for the club in the 3-2 win over Barcelona on Tuesday night.
