Queens Park Rangers midfielder Adel Taarabt has revealed that he had talks about his future with manager Mark Hughes ahead of Monday night's 2-1 home defeat to West Ham United.
Taarabt, who scored his side's goal in the defeat, said he told Hughes that he wants to fight for his place at QPR.
"I went to see him this week and told him 'I'm not happy with this situation, gaffer,'" Taarabt told QPR's official website.
"He said it was not his mistake, but my mistake, because my attitude has not been right.
"I told him I'm going to fight for you and this club and win games. Be patient with me."
Taarabt has made just two appearances for QPR in the Premier League this season.
