A penalty from Christian Stuani rescued a point for Racing Santander at home to Sporting Gijon this evening.
It looked for a long while that Gijon captain David Barral had given his side all three points when he scored from inside the area four minutes before the break.
However, Uruguayan striker Stuani kept his composure from 12 yards 16 minutes from time to secure Racing a share of the spoils.
The result has kept both teams in the relegation zone.
