A Jason Holt goal has put Rangers a goal ahead at half time against St Mirren in the Scottish Championship.
Stevie Mallan nearly gave Saints the lead inside the opening 60 seconds but Wes Foderingham dived to his right to turn his 30-yard strike onto the crossbar.
Lee Wallace nearly turned the ball into his own net in the 22nd minute, when his backpass curled round Foderingham and narrowly missed the goal.
Holt broke the deadlock two minutes later when his shot across goal nestled into the bottom corner.
Rangers had the ball in the net again on the half-hour mark when Kenny Miller turned in a cross from Wallace, but the assistant referee's flag was up for offside.
