Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo believes that he has scored better goals than his back-heeled effort yesterday afternoon.

Real Madrid attacker Cristiano Ronaldo has insisted that his back-heeled goal yesterday afternoon was not the best of his career.

The 27-year-old's effort was the only goal of the game against Rayo Vallecano as Madrid tightened their grip on top spot in La Liga.

However, he believes that the finest goal he has scored came during his time with Manchester United.

"It was a very good goal, because a back-heel goal is always different," he told reporters. "It was a great goal, but not the best of my career so far.

"This is not the first back-heel goal of my career, because I had already scored one while at Manchester United.

"I have to watch the video of my goal because I do not think it is my most beautiful goal to date."

Ronaldo has scored 29 league goals this season in just 24 outings.
