Real Madrid racked up their seventh consecutive La Liga win with a confident 4-0 victory over Granada on Saturday.

Cristiano Ronaldo, James Rodriguez [two] and Karim Benzema were all on the scoresheet for Los Blancos, who now top the table for the first time this season.

Here, Sports Mole takes a closer look at how each individual player performed during the encounter.

GRANADA

Goal

Roberto: Made some decent saves, but was forced to pick the ball out of his own net on four separate occasions. Cannot really be blamed for any of the goals that he conceded. (6/10)

Defence

Allan Nyom: Athletic full-back did his best to offer a threat in the final third, but he struggled to contain the Real Madrid attack down the other end. Needed to be a little more disciplined. (6/10)

Jean-Sylvain Babin: Did his best to match the away side's attack, but had no answer to their fluid movement. Looked a little leggy in the latter stages and was caught out for Madrid's fourth. (5/10)

Jeison Murillo: Made some good blocks in the second period when Real turned the screw, but was ultimately part of a defence that struggled to contain Los Blancos for long spells. (5/10)

Juan Carlos: Came close with a couple of long-range attempts, but was caught out of position at vital moments. Not bad, but not great from the Spaniard. (6/10)

Midfield

Dimitri Foulquier: Looked dangerous in possession of the ball with his pace and power in the final third, but lacked an end product to seriously worry the visitors. (6/10)

Manuel Iturra: Thought that he had won a penalty in the second period, but the midfielder was penalised for handball. Struggled to make an impact in the middle of the park. (6/10)

Eddy Silvestre: Was booked in the latter stages of the first period, before leaving the field at the interval. Struggled to make his mark. (5/10)

Abdoul Sissoko: Played the full 90 minutes, but never really threatened to cause Madrid problems. Looked decent in possession, but did not have a serious influence. (5/10)

Attack

Jhon Cordoba: Had some bright moments in the first period, with his pace and power causing problems, but did not make use of the service that he received. (6/10)

Isaac Success: Arguably his side's brightest player in the first period, but his afternoon ended in disappointment when he left with an injury early in the second period. (6/10)

Substitutes

Javi Marquez: Replaced Eddy at the interval and looked tidy in possession of the ball, but needed more movement from those around him. (6/10)

Youssef El-Arabi: Provided Granada with a different threat in the second period, but struggled for service. Needed to be central, but kept drifting into a wide position. (5/10)

Ruben Rochina: Had a golden chance moments after entering the field, but took too long inside the box. Certainly looked dangerous in the latter stages. (6/10)

REAL MADRID

Goal

Iker Casillas: Despite Real Madrid's dominance, the goalkeeper had some saves to make and he answered the call on every occasion. Solid showing from the Spaniard. (7/10)

Defence

Dani Carvajal: Played his part in Madrid's first goal with a brilliant run, but was forced to leave the field in the first period after picking up an injury. (6/10)

Pepe: Seems calmer this season, with the Portuguese focusing more on his own game. Never really looked in any danger throughout the 90 minutes. (7/10)

Sergio Ramos: Made a super block to deny Rochina in the second period, while the Spaniard was his usual powerful self from set pieces at both ends of the field. (7/10)

Marcelo: Rattled the crossbar and had two or three more strong opportunities to add to the scoring. The Brazilian played almost as a left-winger throughout the match. (8/10)

Midfield

Toni Kroos: Not too involved in the final third, but controlled the match from a deep position. Starting to look every inch a Real Madrid player. (7/10)

Luka Modric: Granada struggled to deal with the Croatian's range of passing, while the former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder was also prepared to put his foot in when needed. (7/10)

Isco: A little quieter than he has been in recent weeks, but still made a positive contribution. Will fully expect to keep his place in the team even when Gareth Bale returns. (7/10)

Attack

James Rodriguez: Was criticised during the early part of the season, but that is not the case anymore. Scored two goals, the first of which was an absolute stunner. (9/10)

Karim Benzema: Set up Real Madrid's first two goals, before grabbing their third with a brilliant finish. Is in arguably the best form of his career. (8/10)

Cristiano Ronaldo: Was involved in everything good about his side. Opened the scoring with a fine finish early on, before setting up Benzema in the second period. (9/10)

Substitutes

Alvaro Arbeloa: Replaced Carvajal in the first period and slotted effortlessly into the team. Strong defensively, but did not offer as much going forward. (6/10)

Sami Khedira: Entered with 15 minutes remaining and kept things ticking over in the middle of the park. Still looks likely to leave in January. (6/10)

Asier Illarramendi: Replaced Isco late on and helped tighten up the midfield. (6/10)
