Borussia Dortmund have reportedly identified Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga as their priority target for the summer transfer window.
Despite having only turned 17 years of age in November, Camavinga has played a key role in helping Rennes into third position in the Ligue 1 standings this season.
The form of the teenager has inevitably led to interest from elsewhere, including from Real Madrid who are said to regard the prospect as a long-term replacement for Casemiro.
However, according to France Football, Dortmund are desperate to win the race for the youngster's signature ahead of the next campaign.
Although Rennes will demand in the region of £50m, the Bundesliga outfit may be prepared to pay that figure due to being able to raise money from the future sales of Jadon Sancho and Erling Braut Haaland.
Camavinga has a contract with Rennes until 2022.
