Real Madrid have reportedly opened talks with Napoli striker Edinson Cavani over a summer move.
The Uruguayan international, who has scored 25 goals this season, has been linked with a number of clubs across Europe in recent months, including Premier League champions Manchester City.
Representatives of Madrid are understood to have held preliminary discussions with the 26-year-old and his advisers, according to the Daily Mail.
Cavani is believed to have a £52m release clause written into his contract with Napoli.
