Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli: 'We killed off Norwich City'

Dele Alli praises Tottenham Hotspur's performance as he and Harry Kane score to give the team a 3-0 win over Norwich City.

Tottenham Hotspur starlet Dele Alli has praised his team's performance following their 3-0 win over Norwich City at Carrow Road on Tuesday night.

Mauricio Pochettino's side moved up to third in the Premier League table after Alli and Harry Kane contributed the goals.

Nineteen-year-old Alli struck inside the first two minutes of the game, while Kane netted from the penalty spot on the half-hour mark before wrapping up the win with a goal in the 90th minute.

Alli was hauled off at half time and replaced with Nacer Chadli, but Pochettino has insisted that there are no injury concerns as the midfielder simply felt unwell.

After the game, Alli told Spurs TV: "We knew they wouldn't make it easier for us but we scored good goals and killed it off at the end.

"We focused on our own performance and that was key. We had a gameplan and we stuck to it and the chances came."

Spurs are still five points behind league leaders Leicester City after the Foxes earned a 2-0 win over Liverpool this evening.
