Stoke City forward Saido Berahino has reportedly been dropped from the club's squad to face Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday afternoon due to poor time-keeping.
Last weekend, it appeared that manager Paul Lambert was prepared to give Berahino the opportunity to help the club's bid for survival in the top flight after introducing the striker as a substitute against Arsenal.
The 24-year-old could have potentially started against Spurs due to an injury to Mame Biram Diouf but according to The Telegraph, the former West Bromwich Albion frontman will play no part in the match.
The report claims that Berahino turned up late to an Under-23s fixture on Easter Monday and although he played for over an hour in the match, Lambert was left unimpressed.
The decision of the Scot means that Berahino's wait to score his first Stoke goal will continue, with the player failing to net in 30 appearances since a £12m move in January 2017.
