Sunderland could reportedly make a January move for Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes.
Black Cats manager Gus Poyet saw plenty of the 23-year-old while he was in charge of Brighton & Hove Albion last year and now wants to give him a shot at the Premier League, according to SportsDirect News.
Rhodes is said to be the subject of plenty of top-flight interest, with Crystal Palace also believed to be readying a bid for the frontman.
Rhodes is the second-top scorer in the Championship this season with 16 goals.
