Team News: Luca Toni starts for Hellas Verona against Empoli

Luca Toni leads the attack for Hellas Verona as they welcome Empoli to the Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi.

Luca Toni has been chosen to lead the line for Hellas Verona in their Serie A match against Empoli this afternoon.

The 37-year-old has scored 19 goals in the league this season and is just one behind the division's top marksman Carlos Tevez.

He will be joined in attack by Juanito and Jacopo Sala, while Rafael Marquez returns to the defence.

Empoli, meanwhile, keep faith with the forward duo of Massimo Maccarone and Manuel Pucciarelli as they look to bounce back from last weekend's defeat against Fiorentina.

Verona: Rafael, Pisano, Marquez, Moras, Agostini, Obaddi, Hallfredsson, Greco, Juanito, Sala, Toni

Empoli: Bassi, Laurini, Rugani, Barba, Hysaj, Vecino, Valdifiori, Zielinski; Saponara, Maccarone, Pucciarelli
