Watford manager Marco Silva has suggested that Stoke City midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri should be banned after the Swiss playmaker allegedly punched Hornets winger Andre Carrillo.
Silva claims that the incident took place in Stoke's win over Watford last weekend, after which Troy Deeney was given a three-game ban for gouging Potters midfielder Joe Allen.
Another brawl broke out later in the match, during which Silva alleges his player was punched.
"I felt something had happened when Carillo went down after the punch by Shaqiri, but when I spoke to the referee at the end of the game I didn't speak about it because I hadn't seen it," Silva told the Hertfordshire Mercury.
"After seeing the match again, I think something happened for [Shaqiri] to be banned as well when I saw one player push our player."
Stoke have appealed against their charge for not controlling their players.
