David Moyes reportedly agrees terms to take over as West Ham United boss until the end of the season should the Hammers sack Slaven Bilic.

David Moyes has reportedly agreed terms to take over as West Ham United manager until the end of the season.

Current Hammers boss Slaven Bilic is expected to be sacked by the club in the coming days following his side's 4-1 home defeat at the hands of Liverpool on Saturday - a result which leaves West Ham in the relegation zone heading into the final international break of the year.

Moyes has already confirmed that he would be interested in the job if it became available, and The Mirror reports that the Scot has now agreed a deal to succeed Bilic on a short-term contract.

West Ham's owners would be willing to offer Moyes a two-year deal should he impress them over the remainder of the season, although the club are understood to prefer a move for Marco Silva, Manuel Pellegrini or Roberto Mancini at the end of the campaign.

"I'm interested yeah, but at the moment it's not available," Moyes told beIN Sports when questioned over the speculation.

"I've been there myself and I know what Slaven must be going through. He will be wanting to get a result as quickly as possible. If it becomes available then yes, but at the moment it's not available."

Moyes, who has also been linked with a return to Everton, has been sacked by Manchester United, Real Sociedad and Sunderland in his last three jobs.
