Sassuolo have reportedly launched an £8.1m offer for West Ham United midfielder Pedro Obiang.
The 27-year-old has made 116 appearances for the Hammers since a 2015 switch from Sampdoria.
Obiang was a regular under Manuel Pellegrini during the 2018-19 campaign, but his future at the London Stadium is said to be far from secure.
According to Sky in Italy, Sassuolo have made a bid of just over £8m for the midfielder, who played the final 30 minutes of West Ham's 4-1 defeat to Manchester City in the Premier League Asia Trophy on Wednesday.
The Hammers have already sold Marko Arnautovic, Edimilson Fernandes, Lucas Perez and Sam Byram in this summer's transfer window, while Samir Nasri, Adrian and Andy Carroll have been released.
The capital outfit, however, completed the signing of 25-year-old centre-forward Sebastian Haller from Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday.
