West Ham United have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Italian striker Mario Balotelli on a free transfer.
Manuel Pellegrini is in the market for a new forward after releasing Andy Carroll last month and losing Marko Arnautovic to Chinese club Shanghai SIPG. The Hammers also sold Lucas Perez to La Liga side Deportivo Alaves earlier this summer.
According to The Mirror, West Ham have 'been offered' former Manchester City striker Balotelli, who scored eight goals in 12 appearances for Marseille during the second half of last season.
Pellegrini worked with Balotelli during their time at the Etihad Stadium so is well placed to know if the 28-year-old would fit into his plans.
Javier Hernandez and Jordan Hugill are the only senior strikers left on West Ham's books and have both been linked with moves away from the club this summer.
