Reading striker Shane Long has admitted that he would consider a move to Championship rivals West Ham.
The Hammers had a £5m bid for the Republic of Ireland striker turned down last week but are still hopeful of luring the 24-year-old to Upton Park.
"West Ham are a big club, so it would definitely be something for me to think about," said Long.
"But I would not be disappointed if nothing happened. I'm happy here and I like playing under [Reading manager] Brian McDermott.
"I am not dying to get out."
Long scored 23 goals to help Reading reach the Championship play-off final last season, where they lost 4-2 to Swansea.
Leicester City and West Brom have are also believed to be interested in signing Long.
