Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock has revealed that he rang Nuno Espirito Santo to congratulate the Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach for winning the Championship title.
The two clubs have battled it out for the league title this season, but the pair were involved in an heated exchange after Wolves registered a 1-0 victory over the Bluebirds in April.
Warnock had been left unhappy with Nuno's celebrations at the full-time whistle, but the manager of the Welsh side has suggested that he has put the incident behind him.
At the LMA Awards, Warnock said: "I'm sure you saw me on the pitch saying a few words to him a few weeks ago. I did ring him up to congratulate him. People say they have had money, it's alright having money. But you have to get the right players in to achieve success.
"Nuno did a fantastic job at Wolves and the club is coming back and it is great."
Both clubs will lock horns in the Premier League next season after Cardiff secured the runners-up spot.
