Italy boss Cesare Prandelli hints that AC Milan striker Antonio Cassano could feature at Euro 2012.

AC Milan forward Antonio Cassano could make a sensational return to the Italian squad for Euro 2012.

The 29-year-old is back in action after nearly six months on the sidelines following heart surgery, and Italy boss Cesare Prandelli has confirmed that the attacker could feature in the tournament if he proves his fitness.

"In my personal album, Antonio is not missing. In the album I have at home, Cassano is there. But I want Antonio there with a smile," Prandelli told Italia 1, in reference to Cassano being left out of the national team's sticker album for the tournament.

Cassano underwent emergency heart surgery in October 2011.
