Filippo Inzaghi has decided to see out the remainder of the season with AC Milan.
The 38-year-old striker was reportedly close to joining Siena earlier today.
However, the veteran frontman has had a last-minute change of heart.
"I decided to stay at AC Milan because it was hard to think of leaving this club," he told the Milan Channel. "I have received many offers and I thank all because it is a pleasure to be considered important when you are 38 years old.
"I thank in particular Siena, which has done the impossible to get me, I've thought seriously but eventually I didn't make it.
"I couldn't leave without saying goodbye to the fans as I could do in May."
Inzaghi joined Milan in 2001 from Juventus.
