Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has backed his team to bounce back from their 1-0 loss to Norwich City at the weekend during tomorrow's Champions League meeting with Schalke 04.
The Gunners were considered favourites to beat Norwich but a first-half goal from Grant Holt was enough to seal the points for the hosting Canaries.
However, Arsenal have a 100% European record so far this season and Wenger believes that his players will be eager to extend that run even further against their German visitors.
"I expect us to respond in a strong way because this team are very ambitious and want to do very well," he told reporters. "The players were very disappointed that we lost a game at Norwich.
"We have to put that behind us and I am sure they will show a strong response tomorrow.
"We have got over it and we will focus on our next game, that is the only way to deal with it, to put the disappointment behind us and focus on Schalke."
Schalke head into the encounter on the back of a 2-1 win over rivals Borussia Dortmund.
