Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain returns to training

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is in contention to claim a place in the Arsenal squad for the Champions League match against Monaco.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has returned to full training ahead of tomorrow night's Champions League encounter against Monaco.

The midfielder has not featured for the Gunners since January 18 because of a groin injury.

However, he took part in this morning's session with his teammates, which is believed to have put him in contention to feature in the squad against the Ligue 1 outfit.

The 21-year-old has made 32 appearances in all competitions for the North Londoners this season.
