Emmanuel Frimpong insists that there is more to his game than being a physical midfielder.

Arsenal's Emmanuel Frimpong has claimed that there is much more to his game than being a tough midfielder.

The 19-year-old has been dubbed a hard man by large sections of the Gunners faithful, brought on by a string of physical performances.

However, Frimpong is keen to show that he is not simply a one-dimensional player.

"Sometimes I'll go on Twitter the day before a game to see what the fans are saying and people are suggesting I'll deal with any players they don't like - 'Frimpong will get him' and that kind of thing," he told the official Arsenal Magazine.

"They seem to have created a 'wanted' list of people for me to go for. I don't know what they think of me!

"I think I'm going to have to make a YouTube video to show the fans the other things that I am good at. But then again, I'm not exactly Lionel Messi!"

Frimpong was red-carded during Arsenal's loss at home to Liverpool earlier in the season.
