Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane: 'Arsenal are a wounded animal'

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane warns his teammates that they could be on the receiving end of a backlash in their trip to wounded Arsenal.

Harry Kane has warned Tottenham Hotspur that Arsenal's midweek demolition at Bayern Munich makes them more dangerous than usual ahead of Sunday's North London derby.

The Gunners lock horns with their bitter rivals at the Emirates tomorrow hoping to bounce back from their 5-1 Champions League defeat at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday.

Consequently, Kane warns that Spurs could be on the receiving end of a backlash but, with Tottenham winning five of their last seven league outings, the Lilywhites hitman says that they have every chance of adding to Arsenal's woes.

"We have come off two very good wins so we are going into the game on a high and hopefully we can finish the week off well," he is quoted as saying by The Star.

"It is going to be a great battle and everyone is looking forward to it. We want to go there, set a high tempo and play well. It was not a good night for them against Bayern. They took a bit of a hiding in midweek and they are going to want to put that right.

"A lot has been said about that result and, as fellow players, you know they will come out firing to try and put things right. So we know what to expect."

Victory would see Spurs move to within two points of co-leaders Arsenal.
