Laurent Koscielny: Arsene Wenger "flew out of control"

Laurent Koscielny admits that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger lost his cool during Sunday's Premier League defeat against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny has admitted that Arsene Wenger "flew out of control" by shoving opposite number Jose Mourinho last weekend.

The Gunners manager squared up to the Portuguese at Stamford Bridge following Gary Cahill's challenge on Alexis Sanchez in the first half of the 2-0 defeat.

Wenger was quick to play down the touchline spat, although Koscielny says that the 64-year-old lost his cool.

"It's a long history of friendship between the two coaches," FourFourTwo quotes the centre-back as saying. "The facts are that after Cahill's tackle, I think the coach was a little upset because three days before Alexis Sanchez received the same tackle against Galatasaray.

"The player only got a yellow card. It's true, he [Wenger] flew out of control."

Koscielny has made 11 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions so far this season.
