Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has insisted that his side will not be giving any excuses amid their torrid start to the Premier League season.
The Gunners remain rooted to the bottom of the top-flight table having taken zero points and scored zero goals from clashes with Brentford, Chelsea and Manchester City.
Arsenal will welcome another winless side in Norwich City to the Emirates on Saturday afternoon, and Arteta has stressed the importance of getting off the mark at the fourth attempt.
Speaking to reporters during a press conference, Arteta said: "We have a completely different squad. It's unheard of. Now we have to make it work, we have to glide it together, build relationships, chemistry and understanding. We have to do that really quickly.
"The pressure is always there to be as high as possible in that league table. It's down to us to provide everything we have. We do not want to use any excuses. We know how difficult the start was with a lot of injuries and COVID-issues.
"We have to reset now. We need to start hopefully getting everybody back on track and start to win football games, which is what we have to do."
Arteta also provided updates on the COVID-positive Granit Xhaka and new arrival Takehiro Tomiyasu, who is still waiting for a work permit.
