Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has claimed that his players are at an "advanced" stage in their pre-season preparations.
The Gunners recently concluded their tour of Asia, beating Urawa Red Diamonds 2-1 to make it four wins from four games.
"We are well advanced in our preparation," Wenger told the club's official website.
"It depends now on how quickly we'll recover from that trip because it was very difficult. It will take a few days to recover from that."
Arsenal get the Emirates Cup underway on Saturday when they face Napoli.
