Arsene Wenger urges Arsenal to maintain consistency

Arsene Wenger says that Arsenal must keep their focus in order to maintain their Premier League title challenge.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has said that his side must remain consistent if they are to win the Premier League title this season.

The Gunners held on to their position at the top of the table after two goals from Santi Cazorla helped them to beat Fulham at the Emirates Stadium, and Wenger believes that his side are well equipped to handle the pressure of maintaining their challenge.

"The pressure is there but it is a positive one," BBC Sport quotes him as saying.

"I believe it is important to keep focused on way we want to play and our solidarity in the side which is exceptional and that will get us the points.

"Man City is a good team as well so that makes the race even more interesting. There are five or six teams who will fight for the Championship. From our side we just need to be consistent."

Arsenal are next in action when they host Coventry City in the FA Cup on January 24.
