Arsene Wenger wants to give Dennis Bergkamp senior role at Arsenal.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is considering bringing Gunners legend Dennis Bergkamp back to the club in a senior role, according to the Daily Star.

The 61-year-old boss is reportedly open to creating a role for the former Arsenal striker, similar to that of Manchester City’s football development executive Patrick Vieira.

The Dutchman, who spent 11 years at the London club, is currently assistant manager to Frank de Boer at Ajax.

Arsenal sit fourth from bottom in the Premier League table.
