Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has hinted that striker Nicklas Bendtner could still have a future at the club.
Bendtner was shipped off on loan to Juventus during the summer transfer window having also spent a spell on loan at Sunderland last season.
However, while Wenger admitted that the 24-year-old has had his problems at the Emirates, he also revealed that he had not lost faith in the striker and hinted at a future with the Gunners.
"He can do well in Italy," Wenger told Corriere dello Sport.
"He's a top player for me, but he's had difficulties here. You can't doubt the player's value though. We believe in him and that is why we only gave him to Juventus on loan.
"I think he can resolve his problems with us and prove himself. We believe in him."
Bendtner has scored 45 goals in 155 games since making his first-team debut for Arsenal in 2005.
