Tottenham Hotspur moved above Arsenal in the table courtesy of a 2-1 victory over their local rivals in the North London derby at White Hart Lane this afternoon.
Mesut Ozil gave the visitors a lead after 11 minutes, but a Harry Kane brace in the second half secured the points for Spurs as they moved temporarily into the top four.

TOTTENHAM
Goal
Hugo Lloris: Made a world-class stop to deny Welbeck in the second half, but had very little else to do after being left helpless by Ozil's opener. (6/10)
Defence
Kyle Walker: Perhaps could have tracked Ozil better for the opening goal, although he could not have known that Giroud's miscued effort would fall to the German. Always a willing runner forward and caused problems in the Arsenal half with his pace. (7/10)
Jan Vertonghen: Oozed authority at the back as he kept Giroud quiet for long spells of the match. Happy to bring the ball out from defence and made a number of useful interceptions too. (8/10)
Eric Dier: Helped to keep Arsenal's attackers quiet for the vast majority of the game and looked to play a part in the equaliser with a flicked header that drew a save from Ospina. (7/10)
Danny Rose: Was Tottenham's biggest attacking threat in the first half with his constant marauding runs down the left flank. That came at a cost to his defensive duties, however, and he was beaten all ends up by Welbeck in the build-up to the opener. (7/10)
Midfield
Nabil Bentaleb: Back in the side following his Africa Cup of Nations exploits and made a noticeable difference. Spurs had the better of things in the midfield battle, and Bentaleb even threatened going forward, drawing one good save from Ospina and providing the assist for Kane's winner. (8/10)
Ryan Mason: Played with intensity and passion that sometimes hindered him but also contributed to an all-action display. Was all over the field and heavily involved, for better or worse. (7/10)
Erik Lamela: Had two decent sights of goal but blazed both of them a long way off target when he should have perhaps left them for a teammate. There was no shortage of effort from Lamela today, but he had a relatively ineffective afternoon going forward. (6/10)
Mousa Dembele: Neat and tidy in possession, providing most of the ammo for Rose to bomb forward in the first half especially. Too one-footed on a couple of occasions within shooting range, but overall a good performance. (7/10)
Christian Eriksen: Not quite as influential as he has been recently, particularly in a game that Spurs dominated for long spells. Did not do much wrong, but could not make a telling contribution for a change. (6/10)
Attack
Harry Kane: The man of the moment for Spurs came up with the goods again. Got both goals on his North London derby debut, the second of which was a very well-taken header. Is there a Premier League player in better form right now? (9/10)
Substitutes
Nacer Chadli: Replaced Dembele with 15 minutes remaining and provided a different threat on the left as Eriksen moved into a more central role. (6/10)
Benjamin Stambouli: Brought on in the closing stages to help his side see out the victory. (6/10)
Paulinho: Had less than a minute on the field as Spurs looked to wind down the clock. (6/10)

ARSENAL
Goal
David Ospina: Very much a mixed bag. Made a number of decent saves in the first half, but most were ones that he would have expected to keep out. Parried the ball into a dangerous area on more than one occasion, though, and it was one such flap that led to the equalising goal. (5/10)
Defence
Hector Bellerin: Was targeted by Spurs all game and had a nightmare covering the overlapping runs of Rose. One of his tougher assignments since being drafted into the team. (5/10)
Per Mertesacker: Will not be happy that Kane won a header in the box to provide the winning goal. Was kept on his toes by the busy striker all day, but was not exactly at fault for either of the goals. (6/10)
Laurent Koscielny: Missed a good chance to restore his side's lead shortly after the hour mark, but could not make the most of a free header. (6/10)
Nacho Monreal: Got forward nowhere near as much as he would have liked. Most of Tottenham's attacks came down the opposite flank, but Monreal had to deal with Walker's pace. (5/10)
Midfield
Francis Coquelin: Provided a good defensive shield for those behind him and relished the physical battle up against Dembele. Is a key figure when Arsenal look to play more defensively, but that did not come off today. (6/10)
Aaron Ramsey: A quiet afternoon for the Welshman as most of his efforts were committing to containing Tottenham as the hosts dominated possession. (6/10)
Danny Welbeck: Involved in a good battle with Rose down the flank and got the better of the full-back in the build-up for the goal. Almost got his own name on the scoresheet in the second half, but was brilliantly denied by Lloris. (7/10)
Santi Cazorla: Never really got going tonight despite some sparkling form in recent weeks. Was not given the space or opportunity to pull the strings and the match rather passed him by. (5/10)
Mesut Ozil: Provided a cracking finish to give the hosts the lead, but we did not see much more from him from that point on. Forced to do a little more defending than he might have liked. (7/10)
Attack
Olivier Giroud: Will be credited with an assist for Ozil's goal, but in reality it was a mishit shot of his own. Kept quiet for long spells and was not given the service to really influence the game. (5/10)
Substitutes
Tomas Rosicky: Stung the palms of Lloris during his 22-minute cameo, but did not do much else to change the course of the match. (6/10)
Theo Walcott: A somewhat surprising omission from the starting lineup. Unable to provide a cutting edge having replaced Welbeck with a little over 10 minutes remaining. (6/10)
Chuba Akpom: Brought on as a final throw of the dice by Wenger with his team trailing, but to no avail. (6/10)
