How Arsenal could line up against Norwich City

Ahead of Sunday's Premier League fixture between Norwich City and Arsenal, Sports Mole looks at how the Gunners could line up at Carrow Road.

Freddie Ljungberg takes charge of Arsenal for the first time on Sunday afternoon as the Gunners face Norwich City in the Premier League.

On Friday morning, the club's hierarchy made the decision to part ways with Unai Emery after a run of seven matches without a win in all competitions.

With just 48 hours to prepare his new squad, Ljungberg, who has been appointed as interim boss, must also deal with a number of injury concerns.

Here, Sports Mole predicts how the North Londoners may line up for the fixture at Carrow Road.

Out: Dani Ceballos (thigh)
Doubtful: Rob Holding (knee), David Luiz (ribs), Hector Bellerin (hamstring), Shkodran Mustafi (foot)

Arsenal have revealed that David Luiz, Hector Bellerin and Shkodran Mustafi will all undergo fitness tests closer to kickoff.

Luiz and Mustafi suffered rib and foot injuries respectively against Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday evening, while Bellerin has been dealing with a tight hamstring.

Ljungberg could opt to risk Bellerin at right-back, although Calum Chambers and Sokratis Papastathopoulos may get the nod in the centre of defence.

The Swede will want to quickly stamp his own mark on the team, which could see the former midfielder bring Nicolas Pepe and Alexandre Lacazette back into the starting lineup.

Ljungberg also has an important call to make regarding his midfield, although Lucas Torreira is expected to get the nod over Granit Xhaka.

Mesut Ozil and Joe Willock are competing for the other place in the centre, with the latter's higher work-rate potentially leading to him being preferred to the more experienced playmaker.
