Team News: Mathieu Debuchy returns to Arsenal team

French defender Mathieu Debuchy returns to the Arsenal team for Sunday's Premier League clash with Bournemouth at the Emirates.

Arsenal outcast Mathieu Debuchy has returned to Arsene Wenger's first XI for Sunday's Premier League clash with Bournemouth at the Emirates.

Injuries to Hector Bellerin and Carl Jenkinson have opened up a place for Debuchy, who makes his first Arsenal start since the North London derby on November 8, 2015.

Summer signing Granit Xhaka also comes into the team, replacing Francis Coquelin, while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been given the nod over Alex Iwobi on the left-hand side of the attack.

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe, meanwhile, has made two changes to the team that won at Stoke City last weekend - Brad Smith and Adam Smith coming into the back four.

Elsewhere, Calum Wilson will be joined in the final third by Junior Stanislas and Josh King, but Jack Wilshere is ineligible to face his parent club.

Arsenal: Cech; Debuchy, Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal; Elneny, Xhaka; Walcott, Ozil, Ox; Sanchez
Subs: Ospina, Gibbs, Gabriel, Coquelin, Ramsey, Iwobi, Giroud

Bournemouth: Federici; A.Smith, Francis, Cook, B.Smith; Ake, Gosling, Arter; Stanislas, Wilson, King
Subs: Allsop, Mings, Ibe, Fraser, Pugh, Mousset, Afobe
