Arsenal have reportedly agreed to loan Calum Chambers to Fulham for the upcoming campaign.
Chambers has recently penned a new contract at the Emirates Stadium, and there had been every indication that the 23-year-old would have a role to play in Unai Emery's plans for this season.
However, according to Sky Sports News, Fulham have been successful with a loan approach for the England international and a deal is expected to go through in the next 24 hours.
The Cottagers have already made a number of high-profile additions since gaining promotion from the Championship, and the signing of Chambers would provide another option in defence and midfield.
Chambers has been contracted to Arsenal for four years, but has made just 83 appearances for the North London outfit in all competitions.
The player also spent a loan period at Middlesbrough during the 2016-17 campaign, where he made 24 starts in the top flight.
