Arsenal make Yossi Benayoun enquiry

Yossi Benayoun reportedly attracts interest from Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

The service's of Chelsea midfielder Yossi Benayoun has been the subject of interest from Arsenal, according to Sky Sports News.

Benayoun confirmed earlier today via his Twitter account that he was likely to leave Stamford Bridge before the transfer window shuts on Wednesday evening.

Gunners manager Arsene has already made known his wish to sign an attacking midfielder following the sales of Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri to Barcelona and Manchester City earlier this month.

Israeli international Benayoun joined Chelsea from Liverpool in 2010 for a reported £5.5m fee.
