Arsenal are reportedly prepared to pay £4m to land Ituano midfielder Gabriel Martinelli.
Martinelli, who will not turn 18 until June, scored six times in four appearances in the last edition of the Sao Paulo Junior Football Cup, which is believed to have attracted a host of interest.
The teenager has also found the back of the net on four occasions in the Copa Paulista.
According to Goal.com, Arsenal are eyeing a £4m swoop for Martinelli, but they will face competition from a number of Brazilian clubs, including Corinthians and Santos.
The same report has also claimed that the midfielder, who is close to obtaining a Italian passport, has previously been on trial at both Manchester United and Barcelona.
Arsenal have also been linked with a move for Nicolas Tagliafico as Unai Emery looks to improve his squad ahead of the 2019-2020 campaign.
