Yossi Benayoun hints that he would like to turn his loan move to Arsenal into a permanent one.

Yossi Benayoun has hinted that he could be interested in turning his loan move to Arsenal into a permanent one.

The 31-year-old joined the Gunners in August on a temporary deal from fellow Premier League club Chelsea.

After making five starts for Arsenal, Benayoun has refused to rule out the possibility of extending his stay at the Emirates Stadium.

"I enjoy every moment in Arsenal but at the moment I can only concentrate on the year loan," he said.

"We will see at the end of the season. Arsenal have the option to take the rest of my contract with Chelsea, which is another two years.

"But it is too early to speak about it. I need to play more and prove myself and maybe have the chance."

Benayoun has also played for West Ham United and Liverpool in England.
