Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has been forced to return for pre-season training in London today after failing to secure a summer switch away from the Emirates Stadium.
Bendtner has been linked with a string of European clubs this summer, with Eintracht Frankfurt among the teams that were unable to agree personal terms with the Danish striker.
The 25-year-old confirmed on his Twitter account today that he is back in England in a bid to regain full fitness ahead of the new campaign and is training at Arsenal's London Colney base.
A brief tweet read: "Back in london training."
Hull City have become the latest club to be strongly linked with a bid for Bendtner, but Tigers boss Steve Bruce has admitted that the former Sunderland forward may prove too expensive.
Bendtner has spent the last two seasons on loan, but failed to secure a permanent move to either Juventus or Sunderland during that time.
