Samuel Eto'o 'seeking move to Arsenal'

Former Chelsea striker Samuel Eto'o is allegedly interested in joining Arsenal.

Samuel Eto'o is allegedly targeting a transfer to FA Cup winners Arsenal this summer.

The former Chelsea striker's representatives have moved to alert the Gunners of his willingness to sign for them ahead of the new season, according to The Mirror.

Eto'o left Stamford Bridge after expressing outrage towards manager Jose Mourinho, who was caught on camera marking remarks about the player's age.

Mourinho said that he thought 33-year-old Eto'o was older than he actually is, prompting the forward to call him a "fool" and a "puppet" in an angry backlash.

Eto'o, who is understood to have received lucrative offers from Major League Soccer and the Middle East, is available on a free transfer.
