Arsenal full-back Jernade Meade has revealed his desire to earn a new contract with the club.
The 20-year-old academy product's current deal is due to expire at the end of the season and as yet no talks have taken place over fresh terms.
However, having made his full senior debut against Olympiakos last week, Meade is hoping that he will be able to prove his worth to manager Arsene Wenger.
"I need to get my name out there, get people watching me and maybe I can go out on loan soon as well to build up my experience," he told the London Evening Standard.
"I have so much to improve on, but hopefully the boss sees something in me. This is the last year of my contract and hopefully I can earn another one."
Meade has been tipped to feature during tomorrow's League Cup tie against Bradford City.
