Arsenal captain Thomas Vermaelen refuses to discuss his future at the club following Saturday's triumph in the FA Cup final.

Arsenal captain Thomas Vermaelen has refused to discuss his future following the club's triumph in the FA Cup final.

The Belgian, who struggled for appearances during the 2013-14 campaign, was an unused substitute at Wembley Stadium as the Gunners ended their nine-year trophy drought.

When asked if he was keen to remain at the Emirates Stadium, the 28-year-old told Sky Sports News: "I can't talk about my future now. We'll have to see."

Vermaelen joined Arsenal from Ajax in 2009 for around £8m.
